COMMUNITY PRESENTATIONS:
For public and independent schools. From 2003 until this year, the Centre has offered a fast-packed interactive program for grades 10-12 about Sexual Ownership. This is a presentation affirming both the power and responsibility for choice that teens possess around their sexuality . The program stresses to students the direct links that exist between their sexual choices now and the impact for those choices on their emotional/psychological well-being, career goals and interpersonal relationships. Game-playing and group/individual activity are involved. The presentation touches on financial, educational and relationship realities using current accurate information regarding pregnancy, birth control and sexually transmitted infections.
The second program, with a Biblical foundation, is offered to church youth settings. The aim of this presentation is to encourage sexual wholeness in youth through an understanding of God's design. This speaker offers truth through a highly relational and visual (but not gratuitous) presentation, drawing teens into a revelation of how they are personally connected with the emotional, physical and spiritual consequences of engaging in early sexual activity. Nils was very well received as our presenter for public and independent schools during the 2006-2007 school year. He can be booked for youth groups through the Centre at 380-6883.
